Friday, the host with the most, Silvia invited us for dinner.She rushed back home and served Couscous with Grilled Drum Chicken, Mutton Stew, Green Salad with Feta Cheese, all well prepared and perfect.
Alain prepared Quish and brought it over to Silvia's house for the final oven bake process, only to realize her oven is faulty too! He tried the microwave and this and that but it was still very wobbly. Finally he got a portable oven from no where and it became pretty firm but not really... But it turned out to be better than Quish. It was like Fondue, but again, better than Fondue! It wasn't too eggy like Quish, creamy & rich inside and yet had the burnt flavour. So a new dish was born - Quishdue. It was
a great dinner party.
Ling's toe nail was accidentally wacked off ....
Just imagine the thought of
dancing in the crowd with this?
.... ouch...
I salute her spirit.
