PUBLIC AFFAIR

Like a typical Professionals, Yuppies & Expats, Friday night started with burgers & beer at Boay Quay or rather,
The turkish wrap kebab, forgot the name, agh! I can eat that everyday. But i'll have to find a buddy to share coz 1 portion is good for 2 for my asian tummy. or maybe not.
Oh and yes...there's no place like HIDEOUT!!
And they never fail me this place...
DJ always spins the coolest tracks it's such a treat. And bartender Chris is every bar owner's dream come true. Deligent, honest, doesn't drink, doesn't smoke but he puts down the deadliest long island.
- my favourite DJ Uly
WEI in the middle ... my bud I can count on.

AVEX TRAX

God Bless Singapore.

Got on a trippy taxi.
No music....
So I asked and yes i guessed it. Techno.
Got out of the taxi and bam!
I thought I went back to the future.

Gang RAPE - Rescue Mission

It was horrifying...

I came home and realized Patrick my secretive flatmate who's gone to China and never seen for the longest time have quietly added 3 gold fish in his tank.
The 3 obese gold fish among the others, were looking very uncomfortable in the crowded 10cm thick wall mounted tank, and I thought, poor goldies can relax in my tank....

After relocating the 2, I fell asleep.
I was awaken by the splish splash of the usually calm water.
I looked in horror my innocent little puffy cheek goldie was being attacked by the 2 fat merciless fish!!
At one point i thought they are going to burst not only the back but her cheeks!

I quickly took them back to where they belong and fed them anyhow.
My puffy is in shock but she's doing fine.

The first picture displayed here have no direct relation to the subject.

Entertaining guest is a hard Work!

Had dinner at QuaySeafood at Clarke Quay with David, the manager at Citi Finance Japan & the 3 support team girls who will be here for 3 weeks on training starting Monday. So to welcome their visit we got to know eachother a weekend early.
I am yet to meet Yuki-san because she had another appointment with her friend but there's Maiko - who declared she wants to go out everyday after work and sleep when she's back to japan.... I'm in trouble!

And there's Hisako-san who doesn't drink & party but a very pleasant girl.
Afterwards, we went to New Asia Bar. Had shots and shots and shots.... Top 40 music, the magnificent view was a hit.
All of us were admiring the dancer's tight butt.
Hisako left after New Asia Bar, and 3of us went to Attica's 2nd floor. It was just nice, not too packed, not too empty, house music was great.
MUAHAHAHAAHAHAHA

Marriott

Went to LivingRoom. At 11pm it was dead... just some guys looking out for take away, music too chillout and we were falling asleep.
Rather than going home, we decided to take a look at BarNone which none of us had a good impression of. Skeptical, we went and had a blast, it's always ironic that way.

Priya's Italian friend Emanuel who looks like Fabio certainly knows how to enjoy a night out. Bumped into Ramon who also knows how to party. It's nice to know I have a happening colleague. After BarNone went upstairs again and we danced til the break of dawn.

Quishdue

Friday, the host with the most, Silvia invited us for dinner.
She rushed back home and served
Couscous with Grilled Drum Chicken, Mutton Stew, Green Salad with Feta Cheese, all well prepared
and perfect.
Alain prepared Quish and brought it over to Silvia's house for the final oven bake process, only to realize her oven is faulty too! He tried the microwave and this and that but it was still very wobbly. Finally he got a portable oven from no where and it became pretty firm but not really... But it turned out to be better than Quish. It was like Fondue, but again, better than Fondue!
It wasn't too eggy like Quish, creamy & rich inside and yet had the burnt flavour. So a new dish was born - Quishdue. It was a great dinner party.

Ling's toe nail was
accidentally wacked off ....
Just imagine the thought of
dancing in the crowd with this?
.... ouch...
I salute her spirit.

geek central

IT Geeks are so exploited in the work force. Sure they are not the ones closing deals and making money, but hey, they too sort of are managing wealth thru computerized transactions, loans and banking datas... don't they? YET it's as good as a dodgy call center. I bet the high flying bankers in Suntec has a nice lounging area! To add to it, our office in Far East has a Telepark next door! Before I should be worried about the electromagnetic radiation (EMR) and it's ill effects on health, I can't help noticing the concerning number of thin hair people around, not to mention i'm in the most densed place of people with glasses. But they are really pure and good people. Maybe I'm enjoying the total change from the 'fashion' industry...

As for the commute to work, I have to commute all the way to geek central, i mean Tampines Central. By taxi it's an alarming $18 a trip in the morning, 20min a ride. By MRT it's a 45min ride for less than $2. This isn't all that bad until I end up under some guy's arm pit!

GAILY night

Went to HAPPY with some happy friends. It was no longer a pure gay club. In fact there were more girls than boys.

Smart boys are already there coz there are more girls but the image is still there so yeah.

Wally was so gone when i arrived. I hardly even saw her face.

Look how happy Yuichi looks w/ Peggy.

SINFUL DESERT

Perfect weather for a stay home Saturday afternoon, read a book or visit a friend's house. Brett's wipped up an original Italian bruchetta, spagetti & his specialty, vanilla ice cream on a bed of strawberry simmered in lemon & 5 types of liqour.
The capers in the bruchetta was something I never tried before. I didn't know capers are from the cabbage family and their flower is like poppy.

-Silly dude. Ready made chicken meat from cold storage (haha, cheater!), mushroom & tomato spagetti. Very nice.
He can really cook... but he's like an auntie guarding the secret recipe, he wouldn't tell me what's that spice stuck in the lemon, and what the 5 types of liqour are.... let's see... Rum? Tequila(just because it's Mexican desert), Vodka? Whisky? well whatever~ it was a sweet indulgence.

IMF - oh, don't be rude

Sep 14 (Thurs)
Silvia & Me, means trouble
Silvia had a photo shoot for Her World for "Artist at Home", will be published for November issue. I was rather agitated at work so left at 7pm and went to visit her. After few beers & curry chicken (by her neighbor Allan), we realized it's such a waste to wash her nice make up and hair, and I happened to have that SMS from MOS, promising free entry so off we went. Bad start as there was a rapping contest or something... but there was some visitors for that IMF thing who were filling up the table w/ glasses of wine & spirits, they were up for grabs!
After a while we went to Velvet, the rest is a big blur.

Wah Lah

The good old Wala Wala at Holland Village.
Something about this place, so laid back and convenient. You can literally have your life evolved around Holland V. They have the best bakery Province, party supply shop 'Party with Us", brazilian wax,
24hr clinic for your MC, plastic surgery, name it they have it.

Brett said this atmosphere may soon deminish with the arrival of MRT! All the aunties & ah bengs will start infesting this place.

Had drinks with Brett & Keith on lazy Sunday afternoon. We were so engrossed with topics on nothing that we didn't realize we were surrounded with couple of 'mature' caucasian men with their exotic lady. What do you call them....

LESBOS Night

YEAH! Shayli turns, 30 something!!
It was a harlem for her... 6 lovely girls and later joined by her lady in her red dress celebrated at Thumper. Before that we had dinner at Que Pasa.

The lesbian scene in Singapore is like being in a all girls school. No, not the uniform and everything. Sounds cute but it's not that wild.
Early in the night, there was a stand up comedy by 2 local comedian/celebrities (Patricia Mok & Irene Ong) in totally Singlish way it was quite funny. The rest was all breast rubbing clubbing & drinking. As Inez puts it, "not enough testostrone".

Patpong in China Town

Auric + his cousin + bar in Keong Saik + name "Bronx" = RED LIGHT!

Runned by Auric's cousing, this bar imports girls from Thailand, they had been open for 3 years and it was their 3rd Anniversary. Girls in 2 piece red tight clothes and happy men around.... Enough said.
I was so stunned how different the girls look after downloading the pictures that I accidentally erased them! shit!
